He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Frederick and Betty Lou Parson (Rowles); and his brother Daniel Parson. He is survived by: his children, Jason P. Parson (Lisa) of McConnellsburg, PA, Martin E. Parson Jr. (Tanya) of Willow Hill, PA and Melissa A. Matters (Justin) of St. Thomas, PA; his grandchildren, Coral McMath (Levi), Martin III, Dylan Marsik, Austin, Jason, Jacob, Kayla Parson and Megan Clippinger; his siblings, Deb Lory of York Springs, Patricia Wilkinson of Gardners and Verna Parson of Gardners; his aunts, Phyllis Ciarrocca (John) and Marlene Benson; and his significant other Gloria Caufman.
