It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Carpenter of Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Carpenter and Minnie Carpenter (Barr); his wife JoAnn Carpenter (Hawbaker) of Mt. Holly Springs; his children, Penny Cover of Shippensburg, Lisa Orndorff of Chambersburg and George Carpenter, Jr. of Mt. Holly Springs; and his sister Thelma Grogan of Carlisle.
