It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Wayne Smyth of Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ralph; and his brother Clarence Smyth. He is survived by: his wife Helen V. Smyth (Herring); his sons, Michael Smyth and David Smyth of Mt. Holly Springs; his stepchildren, Michelle Martin (Smyth) of Carlisle and Todd Smyth of Georiga; and his siblings, Ralph Smyth of Carlisle and Nancy Hoon of Killeen, TX. He is also survived by one grandchild and seven step grandchildren.
