With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zachary Merlo (Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania), born in Danville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 24. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Linda Yuskoski; and his cousin Dawson Merlo. He is survived by: his parents, Amanda Mione (Merlo) of Mount Carmel and Michael "Weezer" Yuskoski of Atlas; his daughter Xiomara Lee Merlo; the parent of his child Haley Torres "Baby Momma" of Shamokin; his grandparents, Michael and Bernadette Merlo; his siblings, Logan Yuskoski of Mount Carmel, Justin Schoppy of Shamokin and Emily Yuskoski of Mount Carmel; his close friend Danielle Lapotsky of Kulpmont; his aunts and uncles, Alicia "Sissy" Coller (Matt) of Herndon, Liz Jones of Wilburton, Mark Merlo (Raynell) of Atlas, Mickey Merlo (Laurie) of Pine Grove and John Yuskoski; and his cousins, Matty, Ian and Sophia Coller. He is also survived by many other cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, and extended family.
