With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William D. Anthony of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though William has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Anthony; his siblings, Frances Frederick and Robert "Yumbo" Shannon; and his nephew Raymond Frederick Jr.. He is survived by: his niece Nicole Lubinski (Scott); his nephew Douglas Frederick (Sara) of Hamilton, NJ; his brother-in-law Raymond Frederick; his great-nieces, Olivia and Hazel Jayne Frederick; and his great-nephew Lucas Lubinski.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Mount Carmel VFW Post 2110, 21 W. Second St, Mt. Carmel PA 17851.
