She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kurtz and Anna Kurtz (Bartko); her former husband Paul Zanella; her sons, Paul J. Zanella and Richard P. "Byrd" Zanella; and her son-in-law Dennis Malakoski.
She is survived by: her children, Polly Ann Malakoski of Mt. Carmel, Michael, Randall Zanella (Helen) of Mt. Carmel and William Rooney (Holly) of Akron Ohio; her grandchildren, Ronald Zanella (Joelle) of Elysburg, Sandra Nye (Paul) of Natalie, Troy, Joshua, Kobe, Will Rooney of Akron and Paul Zanella of Mt. Carmel; her great grandchildren, Zachary Tocyloski, Ryan Ciocco, Ander and ElleAna Zanella; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Connor and Garret Nye; and her sister Patricia Schwalm of Rebuck.
