It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Smelter of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, born in Edgewood, Maryland, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Smelter and Martha T. Smelter (Novack). He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Ferrari of Atlas and Irene Smelter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
