He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wetzel and Alma Wetzel (Shular); and his siblings, Robert Wetzel, Doris Wetzel Linn and Nancy Wetzel Blinn.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bogovich; his children, Dawn Palewicz (Marty) of Den and Glenn Wetzel of Calabash; his granddaughter Alyssa Zaitchik (Benjamin) of London, UK; and his sister Jeanne Wetzel Imler of Sedona, Arizona.
