Angeline R. Gaffney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2024, at the age of 88, Angeline R. Gaffney of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Mirarchi and Mary Mirarchi (Bressi); her spouse Francis Patrick "Buck" Gaffney; her granddaughter Jessica Ann Latorre; her siblings, Joseph "Gong" Mirarchi (Adele), Gina Barilla (Carmen), Rose Palovick (Joseph), Carrie Barella (Frank "Rocky"), Lucy Smith (Howard), Catherine Saukaitis (Paul) and Estelle Veach (Robert); and her brother-in-law Jack Barni.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Latorre (Steven) of Danville; her grandchildren, Michael Latorre (Amber), Justin Latorre (Peyton) and Mary Rose Kester (Bailey); her great grandchildren, Carson, Kyle, Colton and Cecelia Ann; and her sister Eleanor Barni of Dillsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Lucas Funeral Home Inc. (27 N Vine St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A prayer was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Redeemer Church (300 W Ave, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (172 All Saints Rd, Elysburg, PA 17824).
