With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Garofalo of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 17, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jelinek and Anna Jelinek (Halek); her husband James S. Garofalo; her son-in-law David Vilcek; and her siblings, Anna Tvaroha, Mary Weidman, Ella Jelinek, Joseph and William Jelinek.
She is survived by: her daughter HelenBeth Vilcek; her sister Henrietta Capozzolo; and her sister-in-law Orphia Jelinek.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Bangor Public Library 39 S. Main Street, Bangor, PA 18013.
