He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Steele and Dorothy M. Handelong Steele; his daughter Lori Marie Steele; and his sister Carol Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Bowlby Steele; his daughters, Tracy Matlock (Glen) of Belvidere, NJ and Kim Crane (Steve) of Bangor; his grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua Matlock, Kayla Tyciak and Colton Crane; and his siblings, Emma Emery and John Steele. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made in Earl's name to Cancer Foundation of One's Choice.
