He was predeceased by: his brother Keith Rushin. He is survived by: his parents, Eugene "Buzz" and Diane K. Rushin (Kupiszewski) of Mt. Bethel, PA.; his siblings, Janene Phillips and Chris Rushin (Nichol); his nephews, Carter Rushin and Addison Phillips; and his niece Brooke Rushin.
