It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle David Knecht (Moscow, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle David, Sr. and Ada Knecht (Batzel); his sisters, Linda Knecht and Marlene Beavers; and his pet Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ellen (Randall); his sons, John Knecht (Gina Knecht) and Matt Knecht; his siblings, James Knecht (Colleen), Paul Knecht (Paula) and Debbie Knecht; his grandchildren, Ivan Knecht, Alexis Whitfield and Roslyn Knecht; and his great grandchild Ivy Knecht. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services (3 First Street, Spring Brook Township, PA 18444). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services (3 First Street, Spring Brook Township, PA 18444).
