It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John A. Kelly of Moscow, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen "Gloria" Kveragas Kelly; his parents, Ambrose "Bus" Kelly and Claire Kelly (Snyder); his brother PJ Kelly; and his son-in-law Phillip Scavo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Lou Hessling (Joseph) of Easton, PA, Patricia Scavo of Old Forge, PA and Laura Chindemi (Phil) of Moscow, PA; his grandchildren, Phil, Ashley Scavo, Jessica Scavo, Maggie Hessling, Sam Chindemi and Emily Hessling of Lancaster, PA; and his great grandchild Jack Scavo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home (401 Church St, Moscow, PA 18444). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (220 Church St, Moscow, PA 18444).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Pocono Food Pantry.
