He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gush and Margaret Gush (Zawadil); his daughter Dorinda Ann Gush; and his siblings, Joseph Gush, Margaret Coval and Lois Stefano.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann (Saranchuk); and his children, Kimberly Gush, Edward F. Gush, II (Kim) and Gregory Gush (Kim). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and his 7 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services (3 First Street, Spring Brook Township, PA 18444). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (220 Church St, Moscow, PA 18444).
