He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Szybowski and Stella Szybowski; and his brother Stephen. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Syzbowski; his children, Christina Martino (John), Richard Jr. (Trish) and Jessica Hendry (Scott); his grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin), Natalie, John, Laura, Abby, Chloe and Liam; his great grandchildren, Kevin and Violet; and his brother Thomas.
