Porter H.J. Hoyt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 94, Porter H. J. Hoyt of Morton, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Porter H. J. Hoyt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Paul and Marie V. Hoyt; his former wife Margaret Hoyt; and his sons, Michael A. Hoyt, William J. Hoyt and Joseph J. Hoyt.
He is survived by: his wife Mariellen Hoyt; his children, Carlton Paul Hoyt, John Eugene Hoyt, Theresa Goetz, Francis Xavier Hoyt, Margaret M. Gunn, Rev. Stephen M. Hoyt, Marie E. Germsheid, Dolores Kituskie, Bonnie Meyers, Charlie Stevens and Eric Stevens; and his siblings, Varnum Hoyt and Shirley Harbinson. He is also survived by grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
