She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Parkinson and Andrew Komar; her husband Thomas Parkinson; and her siblings, Madeline Cernos, Anne Brown, Catherine Mioli, Sophie Sakewicz, Olga, Rose Howley, Steve and Walter.

She is survived by: her children, Tom, Denise, Luke Vetti (Ushita), Colleen (Peter Sullivan) and Shane; her great grandchild Inaya Isabel; and her brother John.
