He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Michael J., Rose Grossi, Frederick and Elizabeth Gruhler; his father Joseph F. Gruhler; and his brother Frederick Gruhler.
He is survived by: his mother Deborah J. Gruhler; his sisters, Jacqueline P. Gruhler and Milissa Gruhler-Hamlin; and his nieces, Isabella Hamlin, Rose McCauley and Lucy McCauley. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
