He was predeceased by: his parents, John Menditto and Jean Menditto (Esposito); and his sister Karen Menditto. He is survived by: his children, John Menditto, Jr. (Missy) and Jeana Corvo; his sister Regina Amos; his nephew Nicholas Menditto; and his niece Kathleen Conner (Brian).
