He was predeceased by: his parents, James J Jardine and Olga M Jardine (Ewachiw); his wife Elizabeth Dawn Jardine; and his daughter Susan Maria Jardine. He is survived by: his great grandchild Ian John Schappel; his brother James Jardine; his children, John J. Jardine Jr. (Debra), Kimberly Schappel (John) and Jennifer Jardine (Michael May); and his sister Marie Murphy. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren,; 8 great grandchildren, Friends.
