She was predeceased by: her husband William M. Kavchok, Jr.; her parents, Edward Gumasky and Jenny Gumasky; her sister Maryanne Mazzarelli (late Joe); and her great grandchild Bradley.

She is survived by: her children, William Kavchok III (Sue), Kim Kavchok (Chris Piasecki) and Chris Schied (Brian); her grandchildren, Bill, Katie, Rob, Brian, Melissa and Amy; her great grandchildren, Janelle, Joey Madelyn, Isabella, Deklyn, Cameron, Ava and Parker; and her sister Patricia Dougherty (Danny). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
