She was predeceased by: her husband David C. Housel Sr.; her parents, Madeline Balonis and Thomas Balonis; and her pet Stacy. She is survived by: her sons, David C. Housel Jr. and Thomas "Tommy" Housel; her grandchildren, Christian, Emma, Dana and David C. Housel III; her sister Barbara Lynn DiAngelo; and her cousin Nancy Grundahl. She is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
