He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul and Ruth Somers (Aspenberg). He is survived by: his wife Carol E. (Malmsbury); his daughters, Deborah Somers (Randy Sanchez) of Quakertown, PA and Beverly DeFelice Red Bank (Gary); his sister Nancy Marienski of Northfield, NJ; his grandchildren, Keith Lash (Katie), Sarah DeFelice, Adam Trejo, Christopher DeFelice (Kirstin) and Lindsay Trejo; and his great grandchild Emma Lash.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Linwood Historical Society (http://www.linwoodnj.org) or memorial contributions in Mr. Somers' name to the American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org).
