He is survived by: his sons, Edward R., Jr., Gordon (Eileen) and Alfred; his siblings, Sally Haberstick, Ann McKenzie (Jim), Nancy Stacy, Clarence and Arthur Hartzell; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hartzell, E. J. Hartzell, Kiersten Hartzell, Danielle Hartzell, Nikki, Clarence Hartzell and Rosemarie Hartzell. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephew.
