He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smeal and Bessie Smeal (Green); his daughter Krysta Lynn Smeal; and his siblings, Kathryn Sproat, Norma Vincenyo, Viola Foster, Margaret Ward, Adeline Stine, Howard Smeal, Wilbur Smeal and John Smeal.
He is survived by: his wife Alice E. Smeal (Gill); his children, Harold L. Smeal (Tammy) of Morrisdale and Pamela Foster (Mike) of Morrisdale; his grandchildren, Tawsha Vaughn (Brian), Eric Foster (Crystal), Matthew Foster (Janelle) and Harold E. Smeal; his great grandchildren, Chase Foster, Gunner Foster, Hunter Foster, Ryder Foster, Quinn Foster and Ambryn Vaughn; his sister Barbara Dixon; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Smeal and Jane Ann Smeal.
