He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swartz and Sarah Swartz (Kramer); his wife Theresa Mercuri; and his siblings, William, Charles, Russell, Wilbur, Sarah Kleckner, Verna Lore, Gertrude Murray and Jean Sokol.
He is survived by: his son Robert A. "Bob" Swartz (Debbie) of Frackville; and his granddaughter Kimberly Swartz of Reading. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
