He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bennie and Agnes Bennie (Coleman); and his siblings, Ann, Joan, Mary Bennie, Agnes Loftus, Margaret Johnson, Robert and Thomas Bennie.
He is survived by: his children, William of Moosic and Helen Bennie of Moosic; his siblings, James Bennie (Genevieve) of Moosic and Mildred Cesare (Carl) of Moosic; his pets, Daisy and Winston; and his caregiver Leslie Yuhas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
