It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Bryndza Faux of Moosic, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mervin Faux, Jr.; her parents, George Bryndza and Alice Herman Bryndza; her son Joseph Faux; and her grandmother McIlwee.

She is survived by: her children, Judith Faux of State College, Teresa Popko of Dickson City, Janet Gillette (Robert) of Old Forge and James Faux of Redwood City, CA; her grandchildren, Carrie Adams, Caitlyn Adams, Timothy Faux, Michael Faux, Zachary Popko, RJ Gillette and Victoria "Tori" Gillette; her great grandchild Layla Adams; and her sister Virginia "Jeanne" Nestrick of Scranton.
