With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annette Malecki of Moosic, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward M. Malecki of Old Forge and Eleanor J. Moriano Malecki of Old Forge. She is survived by: her children, Neal Nowakowski, Jr. (Ashley) of Bryn Mawr and Britni Cenname (Andrew) of Wellington, FL; her former husband Neal Nowakowski, Sr. of Moosic; and her siblings, Michele Malecki (Bob Skursky) of Pittston, Deborah Intoccia (Joe) of West Scranton and Edward Malecki, Jr. (Sharon) of Old Forge. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Social distancing and masks are required at the funeral home and church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Annette's name to her family to defray final expenses.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of my grade-school best friend Annette. We looked alike and teachers thought we were sisters. I'll always remember she had cin cins candy that she brought to school and would share with me. As life took over, we didn't see one another as much, but when we did, we acted like childhood friends again. I'm so sorry for our loss. She will be missed.”
