He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Ritter and Anna McDemic; his wife Patricia Ritter; and his sister Carrie Ritter. He is survived by: his children, Joe Ritter (Elaine) of Sealy, TX, Jeff Ritter (Karen) of Moon Township, Bob Ritter (Debbie) of Houston, TX, Scott Ritter (Colleen) of Wimberley, TX and Trish Bowen (Sam) of Chesterfield, VA; his sister Dorothy McNerney (late Jim); and his grandchildren, James Ritter (Laura), David Ritter (Stacy), Michael Ritter (Charoma), Amy Knox (Jacob), Sydney Steadman (Alexander), Max Ritter, Jacob Ritter (Lexi), Kaleigh Amin (Ramez), Bridget (Robert Mancuso III), Abby Bowen and Anna Seaton (Garrett). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
