We bid farewell to Katherine M. Egan of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 30, 2024 at the age of 65. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harriette Voyvodich and Martin Voyvodich; her husband Patrick Egan; her children, Elisa McAlister (Patrick), Thomas Egan (Ciara) and Caroline Egan (James Carney); her siblings, Theodore Voyvodich (Alison), Denise Sipe (Wesley), Margaret Voyvodich and Richard; and her grandchildren, Cooper Egan, Lainey McAlister and Dylan Egan. She was also cherished by many loving family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy's name can be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Pittsburgh, 5150 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15232.

“A bright light has gone out with Kathy's passing. We met Kathy at our first apartment in Cleveland, Ohio. Bob had moved in as a bachelor in 1986. I visited once in February 1987 and I met the "new neighbors", Pat and Kathy Egan. They were warm and welcoming. Bob proposed to me on that trip. After we married, I moved out in June. The Egan's made our apartment into our honeymoon suite. (You know that was Kathy's doing!) We'll miss you sweet lady. 😘”
