It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George William Staas of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Staas Sr. and Margaret Nihan Staas; and his sister Sherrill Blanchard. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Staas; and his son Douglas Alan Staas (Emily Dilts). He is also survived by cousins and numerous other family members.
If desired, donations may be made in his name to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
