She was predeceased by: her husband Robert DuWayne Shaw; her son Jerry Shaw (Jurgen); and her siblings, Maria Aumueller, Hans, George, Erhardt and Herman Doepp.

She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Shaw and Bobbie Metzler (Michael) of Columbia, SC; her grandsons, Jon (Beth) and Josh Metzler; and her great grandchildren, Emmett and Gage Metzler.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish or Bridges Hospice.
