She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Wayne Beamish; and her father Floyd W. Smith. She is survived by: her mother Marion Smith; her brothers, George Smith (Victoria) and Edward Smith (Richard Leonori); her nephew Jamie Smith; her niece Keris Rafferty (Shannon); her great-nephews, Dilan and Wyatt; her close friend Robert Grace; and her stepchildren, Robert Beamish (Esme) and Jennifer Woodcock (Timothy). She is also survived by step grandchildren, and her many cousins.
