He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Emma and Earl Warner; his wife Effie Breeze (Shaffer); his son Russell Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jenn Breeze; his daughter Victoria Breeze; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Obie of Montrose, PA; his grandsons, Christian Warner Breeze and Cobey Johnson Breeze; his siblings-in-law, Reese Burton and Karen Burton; and his niece Amanda Burton. He was also cherished by great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
