He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuel Downer and Alice Downer (Gardner); his wife Jean Downer (Baldwin); and his son William Reuel Downer. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda (Joe Reynolds), Lisa (Scot Conway) and Lois (Frank Capalaces); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Alison Reynolds, Colby and Caitlin Conway.
