She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanne L. Stemmer and Edwin J. Stemmer; and her sister Dorothy Stemmer. She is survived by: her husband James K. Sample; her children, Benjamin F. Phillips (Stacey Better Phillips) and Jennifer J. Phillips; her grandson Jack Phillips; and her sisters, Kathryn A. Lynch (Gregory Lynch) and Deborah K. Stemmer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Judy be remembered through donations to the World Wildlife Fund, an organization and subject dear to Judy's heart.
