He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H. Schiefer and Loretta Schiefer (Seisler); and his siblings, Harry P., Donald C. Schiefer, Helen Rank and Gloria Moser.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa M. Schiefer (Borst); his sons, Allen (Kathryn), Ronald (Joanne) and Terence (Marion); and his grandchildren, Kristyne Ochoa (Alberto), Kevin Sandoe (Kristen), Allison Otto (Michael), Stephen Schiefer (Claudia), Scott Schiefer, Greg Schiefer (Meredith), Andrew Schiefer and Lindsey Echols (Matt). He is also survived by three children, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
