She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Shauger and Tinna; her grandmother Florence Tinna; and her grandsons, Michael McGuire and Kevin Parkhurst.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Hooper (Pat), Ralph Parkhurst, III and Brian Parkhurst (Cindy); her siblings, Robert "Butch" Remington and Deborah Shotwell (Grant) of Tunkhannock; her sister-in-law Hilda Setser (Richard) of Beaumont, PA; her aunt Ruth Cook of Tunkhannock; and her grandchildren, Nathan Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Shannon Vardis, Nicole Heckman, Ryan Sonnay, Jamie Parkhurst, Steve and Danny Collett. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, 4 nephews, and 4 nieces.
