She was predeceased by: her grandmother Florence Tate; her parents, Florence Wester Simons and Herbert Wester; and her stepfather Jack Simons. She is survived by: her brother Robert Wester of Alabama; her sons, Robert Buckman and Sean Buckman; her daughter-in-law Michelle Marek Buckman; and her grandchildren, Maverick and Brooke.
