He was predeceased by: his father Roy Kelley; his brothers, Ed Kelley, Burleigh Kelley and Charles Kelley; and his brothers-in-law, Doug Clapper and Jim Cantone.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cassie" Kelley; his daughters, Kim Cook (Vern Hitchcock) and Kendra Griffiths (Jamie); his grandchildren, Lacey, Kassidy Cook, Sonya Grosvenor (Bradley), Shayla Griffiths and Brandon Griffiths; his great grandchildren, Keira and Trevor Griffiths; his sisters, Virginia Clapper, Linda White (Mark), Cheryl Newhart (James), Kathy Kelley and Debbie Johnson (Gregg); his sisters-in-law, Louise Kelley and Marlene Kelley; and his brothers, Robert Kelley (Pat) and Dale Kelley (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
