He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth [Furman] Gower and Lloyd Van Kuren; and his siblings, Janet Wood, Jeanne Manzer, Richard, Jerry, Donald and Jimmy Van Kuren.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn [Coleman]; his children, Steven Van Kuren, Jennie [Jim] Grisafi and Mandy Van Kuren; his grandson James Grisafi; his stepbrother Paul Snell; his father-in-law Roy Coleman; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy [Billy] Lukacinsky, David [Cheryl] Coleman, Suzanne, Mary and Lorna Van Kuren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
