He was predeceased by: his brothers, Gene, Rodney, Hobart, Harold and David Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey J. Newton (Snyder) of Montoursville; his children, Patty J. Bower (Robert) of Montoursville, Robert S. Newton (Patrice) of Montoursville and Sherry K. Sandt (Gary) of Phoenixville; his siblings, Betty Tepel of Blandon, PA and Nevin Newton of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Samuel Newton, Robert Newton, Robert "Bo" Bower and Ryan Bower; and his great grandchildren, Eliah Bower, Emerson and Brooks Bower.
