Velma R. Merrick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma R. Merrick of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Merle and Mazie Dorthea Rambo (Cupples); and her husband Joseph J. Merrick. She is survived by: her sons, David A. Merrick (Nancy) of Muncy and Joseph D. Merrick (Patricia) of Pennsdale; her sister Ruth Brown of Willits, Calif.; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia J. Rambo of Williamsport and Morna Rambo of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-granddaughters.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, a graveside service will be held at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, with family friend, Pastor Curtis R. Lauchle officiating.
