She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter F. Lelek and Violet B. Lelek (Sudol); her husband Daniel Wayne Heitsenrether; her children, Brent Daniel Heitsenrether and Amy Barbara McArthur (Daniel W. McArthur); her grandchildren, Benjamin Douglas Heitsenrether, Adam John Heitsenrether, Avery Jacob McArthur, Gabriel Maddux McArthur, Isla Rebecca McArthur and Lily J. McArthur; and her sister Eileen Graham.
