She was predeceased by: her son Joseph; and her parents, Joseph Longo and Jennie Longo (Abrunzo). She is survived by: her husband Frank Schemery; her daughter Janna Cahill (Pat); her grandchildren, Bryson, Kylie and Rory; her children, Jordyn, Jadyn, Frank III and Addison; her sister Carmela Longo Aloisio; and her daughter Tamra. She is also survived by her 5 children, loving cousins and nieces and nephews.

In the lieu of flowers, the family would respectfully suggest that memorial contributions be made to either Susquehanna Health Foundation for the benefit of The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in JoAnn's name.
