We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023, at the age of 84, James Lester Hofer of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, born in Hughesville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hofer (Mike) and Ruth Hofer (Minier). He is survived by: his wife Kitty L. Hofer (Sterner); his sons, C. David of Montoursville and Michael Hofer of Montoursville; and his brothers, Roy Hofer (Rose) of Price, UT and Paul Hofer (Kay) of Watsontown.
