It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Della Wacker of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, born in Barbours, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis and Ethel Lewis (Harkins); her siblings, Arthur, Robert, Marilyn Raemsch and Irene Roles-Bliss; and her daughter-in-law Rose Wacker.
She is survived by: her husband Charles H. Wacker; her children, Gary Pennycoff (Cathy), Diane Hess (Dave), Steven Wacker (Deb), Marilyn Myers (Shawn) and Richard Wacker; and her brothers, Raymond Lewis and Donald Lewis. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Della's name may be made to either Faith United Methodist Church, 700 Fairview Dr., Montoursville, PA 17754 or Susquehanna Health Foundation, for the benefit of Susquehanna family Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
