Maggs of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Maggs and Agnes Maggs (Price); his wife Mary "Irene" Maggs (Mulholland); and his siblings, Mark Maggs, Jr., Matthew Maggs, Agnes Maggs and Alice Wampole.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Maggs (Ruben Schurman) of Washington, DC and Dr. Jill C. Maggs (John J. McGrath) of New York City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in William's name to the Wounded Warrior's Project at P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516, would be greatly appreciated.
